What to do if you need help at work.

If either you or a friend encounter problems in your workplace you should contact Unite using our confidential contact form . We can assist you if:

•           You are being threatened or intimidated

•           You are being forced to work against your will 

•           Your accommodation is unsafe

•           Your passport has been retained

•           You are being paid less than the UK minimum wage (see ‘Your Rights at Work’) make this a link

•           You are deducted wages not shown on your payslip

•           You have had to pay a fee to get a job

•           You do not receive sick pay or annual leave

•           You are refused breaks at work

•           Your place of work is unsafe

•           Vehicles taking you to work are unsafe

Remember you have rights at work, and you have the right to be represented by a union, so contact The Migrant Workers Support Unit if you have problems at work.
