Help at Work?

What to do if you need help at work.

 

If either you or a friend encounter problems in your workplace you should contact Unite using our confidential contact form . We can assist you if:

 

           You are being threatened or intimidated

           You are being forced to work against your will 

           Your accommodation is unsafe

           Your passport has been retained

           You are being paid less than the UK minimum wage (see ‘Your Rights at Work’) make this a link

           You are deducted wages not shown on your payslip

           You have had to pay a fee to get a job

           You do not receive sick pay or annual leave

           You are refused breaks at work

           Your place of work is unsafe

           Vehicles taking you to work are unsafe

 

Remember you have rights at work, and you have the right to be represented by a union, so contact The Migrant Workers Support Unit if you have problems at work.
